How Flight Hour Solution (Pty) Ltd handles the personal information you give us through this website, under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who we are
Flight Hour Solution (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/294346/07, is a South African company. It is the responsible party for personal information collected on this site.

What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site. Every form asks for your name, your organisation and your email address, and gives you the option of a phone number.
Each door asks for the details that request needs, and nothing more.
- Engines: the issue, engine type, aircraft type, owned or leased, timing, region and, if you choose, a serial number
- Aircraft: buy, sell, dry lease or ACMI, the aircraft type or mission, budget or monthly rate, start date and term, base country and whether you act for an end buyer
- Parts: part number, description, quantity, condition, release certificate needed, delivery airport, aircraft type and whether the aircraft is on ground
- Charter: passengers or cargo, from, to, dates, one-way or return, passenger count or cargo weight, dimensions and dangerous goods, and date flexibility
- Advisory: organisation type, project summary, stage and timeframe
- Engine 360 early access: your role, fleet size and engine types
- General enquiry: which door comes closest, and your message
Why we collect it
To answer your request, prepare a quote or proposal, and follow up on it. For the Engine 360 list, to write to you when early access opens.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
The legal basis
You consent when you tick the box on a form. Answering your request is also in our legitimate interest and yours. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; we will then stop processing your details unless the law requires us to keep them.
Who we share it with
Only with the people needed to answer your request: the operator who would fly a charter, the maintenance organisation or counterparty involved in an engine or aircraft matter, or a parts supplier.
Form submissions are delivered to our inboxes by an email delivery service acting as our operator under POPIA. Where that service or our email provider stores messages outside South Africa, it is bound by safeguards that meet POPIA's requirements.
How long we keep it
For as long as it takes to answer your request and, where a quote or a transaction follows, for as long as that matter and the law require. Retention periods will be set out here in detail after legal review.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and withdraw your consent. Write to hello@flighthoursolution.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It uses only what is needed to serve the pages. If analytics are added later, this notice will say so and explain your choices.
Security
Pages and forms are served over an encrypted connection. Access to the inboxes that receive forms is limited to the people who handle each door.
